The Basscats hosted the IHSA Bass Fishing Sectionals today at Lake of Egypt. Our coaches and volunteers put on a great tournament and our anglers had great success. Mace Ridgeway and Brian Gibbs took home the sectional title with 16 lb 9 oz and caught the biggest fish weighing 5 lb 3 oz. Hollyn McCabe and Karson Baird finished 5th with 12 lb 4 oz. Great job guys!

Some of our 7th and 8th graders had a great time competing today at the Regional Brain Games at Rend Lake College. The theme was Kings and Queens. Students made their own chariots out of mousetraps, string, popsicle sticks and tape. They also carved a Ring for a King out of soap.
