Mrs. Campbell's fifth grade social studies class spent Veteran's Day celebrating our veterans and learning about the branches of military. The students were assigned to interview a veteran and give a class presentation about their chosen veteran. Here are a few pictures of our presentations!
Using Farm Bureau lessons, Galatia FFA members taught 1st grade classes about pumpkins and made "pumpkin pie."
Today in first grade, we had a lot of fun learning about pumpkins. A few of my former students were able to come and give a lesson on pumpkins and how to make pumpkin pie in a bag. It was a sweet treat! My first graders are thankful for Ag in the Classroom!
Thank you to all who supported our Red/White Night on 11/16! The winner of our JH basketball 50/50 raffle gifted half of the $ back to the JH teams. A huge thank you to all of the kids, coaches, athletes, families, community members & alumnus who helped make the night a success!

Red & White Night starts @ 6:00! Chili supper is from 4:30-7:00. JH/HS cheerleaders & basketball teams will be performing, along with Jr. Bearcats & Kitty Kats. We will end the night with our Alumni game, $5 per player. The online Bearcat Team Shop opens today and runs thru 11/30

Due to the snow day, Nov 15th, Terri Lyn will not be delivered until Friday, Nov 16th. Depending on the delivery time, we may not be able to get all of the orders processed tomorrow. We will do our best to get as many as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience. All orders will be available for pick up by 3pm Monday, Nov 19th.

School has been cancelled for tomorrow November 15th. Tomorrow's JH girls game has been rescheduled to 12/10. The Boys JH game for tomorrow has been cancelled.
Jr parent meeting that was scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. It will be rescheduled after Thanksgiving.
Fourth grade created projects to show the many uses of the Mississippi River and today we were able to take a virtual field trip!
Jr. High girls & boys BKB practices have been cancelled for today, 11/14. HS boys BKB practice will be held immediately after school. HS girls practice will be as scheduled. Red & White Night is still scheduled for this Friday, 11/16 @ 6:00, chili supper begins at 4:30.
