We would like to give a huge THANK YOU to our Galatia Community. The Grade School "Kiss the Pig" Contest raised a total of $1,214.58 for our playground fund. We had 3 winners: Mrs. Ellis, Mr. Crank, & Ms. Lisa.The crowd went wild for Mr. Fuller and he kissed the pig for his fans.

Galatia FFA participated in the Farm Bureau 90 second challenge with Harrisburg and Carrier Mills. Food collected today goes to area food pantries. A big thanks to Saline County Farm Bureau for sponsoring this event. They had a great time!

The Galatia High School Student Council, along with the help of Yearbook, Beta, and FBLA, had a motivational speaker, Brandon White, come to the school this afternoon. The students learned how to "own it", be a leader to others, get out of their comfort zone, and swing dance!
FFA members cooked pancakes and sausage for all of the staff this morning. Members came in early and cooked for both buildings. Great job! FFA: Living to serve.

Some of the Galatia FFA officers recently attended the FFA 212 Conference where they gained leadership skills and were able to meet with other FFA member from across Illinois.
FFA members recently attended the National Farm Machinery Show to learn about new agricultural technology and equipment available to the agricultural industry.
Congratulations to the Galatia FFA members on their recent success at the Section 25 Proficiency Awards with their SAE records. Tyler Anderson won 1st in diversified crop, Kate Bond won 1st in swine, Jaedyn Beers won 2nd in sheep, and Hannah Jackson won 2nd in equine science.
