Congratulations to Galatia FFA on finishing their record year as the #1 chapter in Section 25 in total points. This is the first time since the beginning of the points contest that Galatia has won. Members put forth a lot of hard work and dedication to earn this accomplishment.
Congratulations to Galatia FFA on winning the Section 25 Horse Judging CDE. Varsity team members placed as follows: Hannah 1st, Jaedyn 2nd, Maddie 3rd, Courtney 4th, and Alison 7th. JV team member had great scores also. Great job team!

On Friday, April 26th, Mrs. Fraulini and Mrs. Mapps took the 3rd graders to Discovery Park of America in Union City, TN. What a fun filled day!
Hannah Carlton and Destinee Justice, from Mrs. Fletcher's 6th grade Reading class, were selected as one of the 75 runners-up for Storyworks' "Create a Character" contest! Their entry was picked from nearly 3,000 entries. Storyworks chose 75 runners-up from the thousands of entries that stood out.
Tuesday, April 30 baseball game at Galatia has been cancelled. The boys and girls will travel to Hardin Co for games on Wednesday, May 1.
Freshmen shirt orders are due this week, Friday, May 3rd. Prices are $10 unless you order a 2x or larger and then it will be $12. Money & orders are due Friday to Mrs. Fry or Mrs. Lynch.
On Monday, April 29 the HS boys baseball team will host Agape Christian @ 4:30. The HS girls softball team will travel to Carmi for their 4:30 game. Let’s go Bearcats!!!

On Thursday morning, many of our Junior High and High School students and staff gathered to show support to our neighboring Carrier Mills School District in the loss of one of their students. Several students and staff wore purple and gold to show their support.
