Mrs. McCabe’s 2nd graders spent some time this afternoon talking about the different types of trees and how some trees lose their leaves in the fall. They collected leaves and made leaf rubbings in their Nature Journals.

Today was a great day to run. Natalie Triplett, Zane Carlile, and Abby Kuczynski took advantage of the weather and received medals in their races at the Wesclin Cross Country Meet.

Mrs. Biggerstaff’s 2nd grade scientists spent time outside this afternoon. Students observed plants, nature, and fall signs. We will continue to work in our nature book through the month of October.


Mrs. Mayberry's 1st Grade read "Little Red Hen" this week and got to make homemade bread.
