There will be a parent/player meeting on Wednesday, September 25th for any 6th-8th grade boy interested in playing junior high basketball. The meeting will be at 5:45 in the high school cafeteria.

Grade School T-Shirt orders are due this Friday, September 20th. Everyone will receive a shirt. They are $10. They will be worn on field trips, special school occasions, and field day. Your child can still wear them at anytime. Please make sure to fill in the order form and send it back to your child's teacher. Thanks.

Below is the jh softball regional bracket. Our girls earned the #3 seed and will host Lick Creek in the first round. This game will be Monday (9/23) at 4:00. Further games/locations will depend on first round results. Good luck girls!
Below is the jh baseball regional bracket. Our boys have earned the #1 seed! We will host Joppa this Friday (9/20) at 4:00 in the first round. Second and third round games would also be at Galatia if the team advances. Good luck boys!

Games start at 4:30 with 8th grade recognition directly before game time. Then following the games we will have our field and field lighting dedication ceremony with many other activities.

The last regularly scheduled home junior high softball and baseball games are Monday (9/16). We will use this opportunity to celebrate our 8th grade players before the games. We are also excited to announce that following the games, we will have a field and field lighting dedication ceremony!
There will be many other activities to go along with this ceremony. More details to follow.
Shout out to Galatia Cross Country as they ran at Herrin Park today. Each runner improved their time & lots of personal records were made. Bailey Downing finished 7th while Kael Krelo finished 27th for the guys! Way to GO everyone, we are so proud of you!! 🏃♀️🏃♂️
Galatia FFA members attended the FFA Chapter Officer Leadership Training and Greenhand Conference at SIU where they learned more about how to perform their officer duties and interacted with around 600 other FFA members in team building activities.
