The Jr. High Baseball team will play for 3rd place in the state tournament on Thursday, October 9 at 12:00. We will have an early dismissal for students and staff at 11:30 on Thursday so we can all go support our Bearcats! What a season so far with back to back Regional Championships and a shot at 3rd in the state!

The Basscats fished a MLF Tournament this weekend at Pickwick Lake in Alabama with 34 boats entered. The team of Mace Ridgeway and Brian Gibbs finished in 6th place with 12.08 lbs and the team of Kael Krelo and Cayden Baird finished 15th with 8.08 lbs. They also had a team in the ICASST circuit at Lake of Egypt this weekend with 54 boats entered. The team of Karson Baird and Hollyn McCabe finished 28th with 6.6 pounds. Way to go, Basscats!
Congratulations to our Jr. Bearcats baseball players that earned all conference honors: Bryce Jenkins was named Litte GEC MVP. Bradyn Wood and Gage Scott earned honorable mention. Great job boys!

The Jr. Bearcat Baseball Team will play in the state semifinal game at 1:00 in Marion on Tuesday. We will have an 11:30 dismissal Tuesday so everyone can go out and support the Jr. Bearcats on their road to victory! Go Bearcats!
Galatia FFA members have had a busy and successful Fall season so far. Connor Graham placed first in the Section 25 Ag Education contest and moves on to district. Aiden Ferrell placed first in the Section 25 Job Interview contest and moves on to district. Aiden and Justin Williax placed 2nd as a team. Haleigh Oslay placed 1st and Garrett Arnold placed 2nd in the JV Job Interview Division. Our archery team placed 5th in the Section 25 contest. Members also competed in the Section 25 Soil Judging and Tractor Driving contests and eagerly await the results. Great job teams!
