High school basketball is scheduled to start their GEC tournament run tonight at 8:00 at SIC. Be sure to come out and get loud for our cheerleaders as well! Crowd support is part of their judging criteria.
Attached is the updated junior high boys basketball regional bracket. Semifinal games will be held at GHS on Monday, February 2. The championship game will be at GHS on Tuesday, February 3.

High school basketball and cheerleaders finished their week at the Z/R Midwinter Tourney last night. The cheerleaders finished 2nd in the cheer competition. The basketball boys brought home second place. Also, Will Puckett and Isiah Plumlee were named to the all-tournament team. Congratulations Bearcats!
Congratulations to the following students on "exceeding expectations" on their state testing last school year: Emily Adams, Della Foster, Isabella McIntosh, Graycee Adams, Elliet Cockrum, Karley Grubbs, Seth Brown, Mackenzie Graham, Olive Launius, Sky Courtaway, Ryne Foster, and Autumn Debose.
They were rewarded with a field trip lunch today.
